WSi Lands a Minimum $750,000 Contract and Readies to Launch a New Interactive Internet Business Designed for Health & Wellness Enthusiasts.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1999--

WSi Interactive Corporation (WSi)'s subsidiary, Western Shores Direct Marketing Group Inc., has landed an agreement with ERSS EQUITY Retirement Savings System Corp. ("ERSS") to be the direct marketing agency of record for its new equity card business, which will generate $750,000 for direct marketing campaigns and Western Shores shall also receive $12.50 for facilitating each equity card and $6.25 for facilitating each credit card application.

ERSS has created an equity card that functions like an Air Miles card. When it is presented at the point of purchase with a sponsoring agent, a cash contribution will be made to a pooled trust account and when they total $100 for that member, an RRSP product will be purchased for that member.

In conjunction with the equity card, ERSS, a leading US bank, has created a combined equity and Mastercard, which will function like an airline "points" credit card, with a cash contribution being made to the pooled trust account with every purchase made with the card.

WSi readies to launch a new interactive Internet business

WSi is expanding its current portfolio of on-line businesses with a new Internet property, Heathcreator.com, a database driven health and wellness web site. Subscriber sign-ups will begin immediately.

WSi projects revenues from Healthcreator.com for advertising and permission-based, one-to-one marketing campaigns. Healthcreator.com will be available free as a co-branding opportunity to any health-related site on the web. This co-branding initiative should drive traffic to the web site at an exponential rate. This initiative further strengthens Wsi's position in the on-line relationship marketing arena.

Healthcreator.com uses a questionnaire to uncover the health and fitness goals of subscribers and provide them with a free daily health regimen, personalized to their current lifestyles. The daily health and fitness plans are presented as a personal page offering a daily meal plan, daily exercise plan, daily supplement plan, goal setting and results tracking to keep subscribers motivated to reach their goals.
