Calabasas coach Andy Falk called Teitelman's title match one of the most competitive he has seen this season.

Teitelman, who had defeated two-time tournament winner Mikey Murphy (20-5) of Simi Valley in a league match Thursday, prevailed 8-7 over Prentise. He'll lead host Calabasas against defending league and Southern Section champion Royal on Thursday and will compete Jan. 27-28 in the California Invitational Tournament at Morro Bay, annually one of the state's top events.
