WORK RECOVERY INC. AND 3M ANNOUNCE NATIONAL PREFERRED PROVIDER AGREEMENT

 TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Work Recovery Inc. (NASDAQ: WORK), a Tucson-based provider of advanced rehabilitation technology and an international network of testing clinics, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with 3M, with headquarters in St. Paul, Minn., to provide ERGOS Functional Capacity Testing, Work Conditioning and Work Hardening, as well as other employer-based services.
 The service agreement provides for referral of 3M employees to Work Recovery Inc.'s national network of occupational clinics. 3M operates manufacturing facilities in 36 states and sales offices in all 50 states, with approximately 49,000 employees. On a global basis, 3M has approximately 87,000 employees.
 George Mlynarczyk, Rehabilitation Services supervisor, and Thomas L. Brandon, president of Work Recovery Inc., jointly stated that "The agreement will provide a strong return-to-work component to 3M's current injured worker and rehabilitation program." Mlynarczyk went on to say that "The objectivity of the ERGOS Functional Capacity Test and targeted return-to-work services, combined with Work Recovery Inc.'s ADA employer-based services, will provide an excellent enhancement to 3M's disability management system. The cost savings potential for 3M is significant, while ensuring that workers are given state-of-the-art services for recovery and return to work."
 Brandon stated that "The 3M agreement provides additional evidence of Work Recovery Inc.'s belief that direct customer-based services to employers and their employees provide the best opportunity for our company's growth and for true cost containment for employers."
