Below is her winning essay: Dear sweet little Arah, You came into my life quite unexpected. I had no idea that at age 76 I would become a grandparent, for the very first time, and experience one of the greatest joys of life. I can say it is a wonderful blessing and that I received a new lease on life. When I looked into your sweet little angelic face for the very first time, I imagined you growing up to become a person that will offer surprises to the world.
