 HILLS - Michael Dingilian carried Woodland Hills Little League to a 10-6 victory over Northridge in the District 40 baseball final (12-under) in front of an estimated 300 on Friday night.

Dingilian hit a 275-foot home run - his fourth in three tournament games and 15th in 29 games - and pitched a six-inning complete game with eight strikeouts. The 5-foot-6 right-hander also came through with a key defensive play, fielding Nicholas Smith's bunt bunt: see smut.  with runners on second and third and firing to first to end the the fourth and preserve a one-run Woodland Hills lead.

With the win Woodland Hills (5-1) advances to the Section 2 tournament, which begins Saturday in Montrose.
