UCLA (20-6) update: The third-ranked Bruins have swept Hawaii twice this season but are on the road for a first-round playoff match for the first time ever; tournament rules state a second-place team will host a third-place team regardless of record. Still, the postseason is where UCLA thrives. Adam Naeve, Danny Farmer, Fred Robins and Brandon Taliaferro are healthy. Hawaii (18-9) update: The Rainbows will have to hit better than in their previous matches with UCLA this season. Middle blockers Andre Breuer and Dejan Miladinovic are a powerful duo, but watch out for outside hitters Chris Kosty, Ole Kaven and Tory Tukuafu.
