WOMEN`S TOP 25: UCLA ISN'T SCARED AWAY : ARIZONA CROWD TAKEN OUT WITH BIG FIRST HALF.

The Bruins (9-4) had an 81-69 lead with just under two minutes remaining, but two turnovers and a missed free throw allowed Arizona (5-5) to close to six before a three-point play by Flannigan put the game out of reach.

Itoro Umoh had two chances to tie it for Clemson (11-1, 2-1), but she missed a pair of foul shots with 7.3 seconds to play.

No. 17 Duke 90, Maryland 61: The Blue Devils (10-4, 2-0 ACC) used 17 points from Michele Van Gorp Michele Van Gorp (born May 10, 1977 in Warren, Michigan) is a former professional basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), most recently with the Minnesota Lynx.  to cruise to the road win.

No. 18 Iowa St. 81, Oklahoma 60: Stacy Frese scored 26 points, including 9 of 10 free throws, as the Cyclones (9-1) won their Big 12 opener on the road.

No. 21 Kansas 67, Texas A&M 59: Lynn Pride had 29 points and 11 rebounds for the visiting Jayhawks (11-3, 1-0 Big 12).
