WOMEN`S ROUNDUP: UCLA STUNNED BY WASHINGTON, FALLS TO SECOND.

Jamie Redd scored seven of her 26 points during a late 17-4 run that propelled Washington to a 96-85 victory over No. 12 UCLA on Saturday in Seattle.

The Bruins (21-7, 13-3) fell a full game behind first-place Oregon in the Pacific-10 and lost only their fifth conference game in their past 28.

UCLA led by five points with nine minutes left before Washington's decisive run, which included a 3-pointer, fast-break layup and put-back by Redd.

Amber Hall scored 23 points, Megan Franza 16 and LeAnn Sheets 14 for Washington (14-12, 10-7 Pac-10). Hall and Redd both grabbed 10 rebounds for the Huskies.

LaCresha Flannigan scored 22 points and Maylana Martin 14 for UCLA.

The teams traded nine lead changes in the second half before Washington took the lead for good on two free throws by Sheets with 6:37 left.

Paced by Redd's six points, Washington jumped out to a 15-7 lead seven minutes into the game.

The lead was then traded six times until UCLA took a 34-31 halftime lead.

Washington State 63, USC 51: The Trojans (7-18, 3-13 Pac-10) lost their eighth straight on the road, shooting 28 percent from the field even though they outrebounded the Cougars 53-38. Tiffany Washington had 15 points and 18 rebounds in the loss. WSU (11-15, 5-12) got 15 points and 11 rebounds from Victoria Harrod.

Arizona 81, Stanford 67: The Wildcats (16-9, 11-5) pulled to within a game of the Cardinal (16-11, 12-4 Pac-10) as freshman center Elizabeth Pickney scored 18 in Tucson.

No. 1 Purdue 79, Northwestern 56: Stephanie White-McCarthy scored 11 of her 24 points on a 19-2 run in the first half to boost the Boilermakers (26-1) in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament.

No. 2 Tennessee 80, No. 24 Alabama 69: The Vols (27-2) moved to the SEC title game and beat the Tide (19-10) for the 21st straight time. Semeka Randall scored 23 points for Tennessee.

No. 4 Colorado State 97, Air Force 70: Becky Hammon scored 36 and CSU (29-1, 14-0) finished an unbeaten WAC regular season.

No. 3 Louisiana Tech 97, New Orleans 57: The Lady Techsters (24-4, 12-0 Sun Belt) became the second women's college basketball program to reach 700 victories and improved the best winning percentage in NCAA history to .855 with the victory in New Orleans.

Tech, 700-119 in 25 seasons, joined Tennessee in the 700-victory club. The Lady Vols are 784-202 in 54 seasons.

Chaka Massey scored 17 of her game-high 19 points in the first half to lead five Louisiana Tech players in double figures.

No. 9 Virginia Tech 73, Dayton 72: In three overtimes, the top-seeded Hokies (26-1) advanced in the Atlantic 10 tournament against the Flyers (11-17).

No. 11 Texas Tech 76, Texas 56: Angie Braziel scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Tech (25-3, 14-2) to its second straight Big 12 Conference title.

No. 14 Georgia 68, Kentucky 62: Coco Miller's 27 points put the Lady Bulldogs (23-5) in the SEC tournament championship against Tennessee.

No. 13 North Carolina 87, Georgia Tech 71: All five Tar Heels starters were in double figures in the ACC tournament opener. UNC (25-6) was led by Chanel Wright's 18.

No. 15 Penn State 79, Michigan State 74: The Nittany Lions (21-6) advanced to the Big Ten semifinals as reserve Maren Walseth scored a season-high 19.

No. 16 Clemson 52, North Carolina State 51: Nuria Forns got the Tigers' only field goal in the final five minutes and they made it stand up in the quarterfinal game of the ACC tournament. Clemson faces top-seeded Duke in today's semifinals.

No. 19 Virginia 71, Wake Forest 67: The Cavaliers (20-7) beat the Demon Deacons for the 42nd straight time, winning in the ACC touranment quarterfinals.

Baylor 70, No. 20 Iowa State 68: The Lady Bears (16-12, 8-8 Big 12) built an 18-point lead and then held off Iowa State (20-6, 12-4) in Waco, Tex.
