WMS Secures Three Large Game Orders Totaling 1,738 Units; 716 'Ticket-Out' Game Order from Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Is Largest Single Sales Order in Company's History.

WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS), announced today that it has secured three major sales orders.

These orders are for an aggregate total of 1,738 units from the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians Corporate Commission, (d.b.a. Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley, MN), the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA owned and operated by the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians and the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. Each order is comprised of a variety of WMS Gaming reel-spinning and multi-line, multi-coin video products including top-earning WMS titles such as Reel 'em In(R), Money to Burn(TM), Cash Crop(TM), Filthy Rich(R), Jackpot Party(R), and Reel 'em In Cast for Cash(TM). The Mohegan Sun and Soboba Casino orders include additional participation units like the Puzzle Pays(TM) series, which includes JUMBLE(R), and MONOPOLY(R) -themed gaming devices.

The order from the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, which is the largest single sales order in the Company's history, is for 716 upright video gaming devices each equipped with "ticket-out" printer technology rather than a traditional coin hopper. Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley are removing a total of 667 coin hopper units and replacing them with the new "ticket-out" printer games from WMS. The games are scheduled to be installed in the two casinos during the third and fourth quarters of the Company's fiscal year 2001 ending June 30, 2001.

WMS expects to begin shipping the 570 game Mohegan Sun order in its third fiscal quarter, ending March 31, 2001, with the remainder of the order to be delivered over the balance of WMS' fiscal year ending June 30, 2001. The Mohegan Sun Casino is expanding its gaming facilities by adding the new Casino of the Sky which is scheduled to open in October 2001 with 75 table games and 2,750 gaming devices and is renovating its previous Bingo area into the Hall of the Lost Tribes smoke-free slots area with 600 gaming devices. The existing Casino of the Earth houses 190 tables and 3,026 slots.

The Soboba Casino order for 452 units includes 152 printer games utilizing the "ticket out" technology instead of hoppers. WMS expects to ship the games to Soboba Casino beginning in February 2001.
