WMS Combines Advanced Technologies, Player-Driven Innovation(TM) and Game Segmentation in Creative New Products Set to Debut at 2006 Global Gaming Expo (G2E).

WAUKEGAN, Ill. & LAS VEGAS -- WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE:WMS) will unveil a variety of creative new products at the sixth annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) (Las Vegas Convention Center: Booth #1357) in Las Vegas, November 14-16, as it combines advanced technologies, Player-Driven Innovation and game segmentation to bring new slot play to casino floors. WMS' G2E booth will showcase over 80 exciting new game themes and a broad array of innovative products, technologies and game mechanics that are expected to drive the next evolution of entertainment in the casino gaming industry.

A highlight of WMS' products at G2E will be the latest version of the Company's WAGE-NET[TM] (Wide Area Game Enhanced Network[TM]) technology. The latest WAGE-NET server-based technology is the foundation of a networked casino environment that enables entirely new innovative forms of player experiences and game play mechanics, all based upon Player-Driven Innovation. With server-enabled technology from WMS, casino operators can remotely reconfigure games and download new content and peripheral updates to manage their slot floor from their data centers. Every WMS Bluebird[R] cabinet with a CPU-NXT[R] operating platform is already "WAGE-NET Ready," and will be able to facilitate remote configuration functionality with a simple software upgrade. In addition, WMS will provide multiple WAGE-NET upgrade options based on customer preference, thereby leveraging operators' investments in Bluebird cabinets and facilitating the integration of advanced technologies on casino floors. The key differentiator for WMS will be the innovative new game play available to casino patrons that can be enabled in the networked environment of server-based gaming. WMS' G2E booth will feature a mini-casino of server-enabled gaming machines as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the "casino of the future." The WAGE-NET casino area of the WMS booth will also include the debut of new Bluebird2[TM] slim-line cabinets, featuring a premium edition that includes "high-definition downloadable digital glass and button panels."

CPU-NXT2 technology features a high performance Intel[R] CPU, ATI powered 3D, real-time graphics, enhanced BOSE[R] audio capabilities, expanded memory and high-speed streaming video culminating in a robust operating system that performs at ten times the throughput of the average home PC. The CPU-NXT2 motherboard allows casino operators to easily upgrade their existing Bluebird cabinets and peripherals to new levels of gaming excitement through the purchase of a CPU-NXT2 upgrade. Community Gaming - MONOPOLY[TM] Big Event[R]

WMS' first server-enabled product, MONOPOLY Big Event, uniquely provides table game excitement in a slot machine. The Big Event server technology transforms the slot floor into a lively, communal gaming experience, made possible by its WAGE-NET enabled innovative game content.

Sitting at a TOP GUN game, casino patrons are immersed in an innovative, real-time 3D, multi-sensory experience. Based on Paramount Picture's classic feature film "TOP GUN," the engaging new gaming machine couples a revolutionary new sound experience utilizing the BOSE 3Space[TM] audio system with a new, real-time, 3D graphics engine enabled by technology developed in partnership with ATI Technologies Inc. (a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative 3D graphics, PC platform technologies and digital media silicon solutions) to create an unparalleled gaming experience. With commercial deployment expected in the spring of 2007, players taking a TOP GUN flight powered by CPU-NXT2 technology are expected to soar to new heights of gaming entertainment.

The debut of TOP GUN will be followed by additional innovative game themes. Just over the rainbow will be the introduction of a new product based on the classic 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz," starring Judy Garland. WMS has signed an agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to produce games based on "The Wizard of Oz." Transmissive Reels[TM] Gaming - MONOPOLY Super Money Grab[R]

Combining the traditional player appeal of a mechanical reel gaming machine with the interactive and rich graphical interface of real-time, 3D visuals enabled on a CPU-NXT2 system, Transmissive Reels Gaming will flow onto the casino floor. Reflecting WMS' introduction of breakthrough technology, graphically rich video content is projected over mechanical reels to create unique game play, visually-engaging levels of player entertainment and endless winning possibilities. This breakthrough technology combines the best of what players love about traditional mechanical reels and video reel products. With graphically rich video, including new bonus features, projected over mechanical reels, the technological advances of this platform offer a large array of potential new market opportunities for WMS and its customers. Debuting with the popular MONOPOLY licensed brand, the Super Money Grab game is sure to be the first of many exciting new games in this revolutionary new product category from WMS.

Accelerating the future appeal of this category, WMS has licensed the rights to bring the legacy of the "Duke" to the slot floor. JOHN WAYNE[TM] DUKE IT OUT[TM] will be the next WMS product utilizing the power and appeal of Transmissive Reels technology to be introduced to the casino floor. With a mid-fiscal 2008 launch anticipated, the JOHN WAYNE DUKE IT OUT product is expected to drive further interest in what is expected to be a fast growing new product category of the slot floor.
