WJ Communications Appoints Robert J. Bayruns As Vice President of Engineering; Respected Leader in RF Technology Brings 24 Years of Experience.

WJ Communications, Inc (Nasdaq:WJCI WJCI WJ Communications, Inc ), a leading designer and supplier of high-performance RF semiconductors and multi-chip modules (MCM), today announced that it has appointed Robert J. Bayruns as Vice President of Engineering.

Mr. Bayruns brings over 24 years of combined experience in RF (radio frequency) technology and product development in power amplifiers, wireless transceivers, cable TV and process experience in GaAs and Silicon design. He served most recently as VP of Engineering and Product Development at Mobilian, a leading wireless systems company that designs and develops analog and digital integrated circuits. Prior to that, he was the VP of Engineering and Product Development at Tropian, Inc., an advanced wireless communications technology company,and was also VP of Business and Advanced Product Development at Anadigics Corporation. Mr. Bayruns has a M.S.E.E. from Rutgers University and a B.S. from Spring Garden College Spring Garden College was a private technical college founded in Spring Garden, Pennsylvania (now a part of Philadelphia) in 1851. It closed in the 1990s. Prior to the college closing, Spring Garden was regionally accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle .
