WISCONSIN HEALTH ORGANIZATION EXPANSION TO SHEBOYGAN
MILWAUKEE, Wis., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- CareNetwork, Inc.

(NASDAQ: CRNT) announced that Wisconsin Health Organization (WHO), CNI's 100 percent wholly owned HMO subsidiary, has signed a two-year contract with the Physician's Health Network of Sheboygan, Inc., an independent physicians association (IPA) comprised of 40 doctors, and a multi-year contract with St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
The contract expands WHO's 1992 service area in to the 103,000 population Sheboygan county area to the north of Milwaukee. Under both contracts, the IPA and the hospital will accept WHO-insured patients during the present open enrollment period.
"WHO's Sheboygan expansion is a tangible demonstration of CareNetwork's Wisconsin growth plan to contiguous communities from our existing service area," a company spokesman said.
Physician's Health Network of Sheboygan, Inc., has participated in Network EPO, a preferred provider option plan owned by CareNetwork, Inc., since 1990.
