VALENCIA - Tickets are available for the May 28 Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Wine Classic, a wine-tasting event and fundraiser for young musicians.

Advance tickets cost $70 apiece or $130 a pair, or $80 apiece and $150 at the door the day of the event. A special ticket is available to designated drivers. Group sales Group sales

 tickets, available through May 21, are $60 each.

The 17th annual event offers a huge variety of wines from both wineries and merchants, as well as gourmet food from local restaurants and catering services and live orchestra music.

In addition to the latest releases poured by wineries, a number of vintage library wines will be available for tasting. A selection of current and rare vintage wines will be offered during a silent auction. All guests will receive souvenir glasses and trays.

U.S. private institution of higher learning in Valencia. Created in 1961 through the merger of two other art institutes, it was the first in the U.S.

The SCV Youth Orchestra is a three-tiered instrumental educational program founded in 1969 at CalArts. It moved to College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation.  in 1989. The program provides a positive, creative outlet for hundreds of young musicians throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
