SANTA CLARITA Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. The chance of rain will fall to 20 percent on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. , with highs in the mid-60s and winds gusting up to 20 mph.

Most of next week will be clear with highs in the mid-70s and 15- to 20-mph winds out of the north. Clouds and slightly cooler days are forecast Thursday.

In recent days, city workers responded to several calls of tree limbs down in the high winds, but no serious damage was reported.
