P&O Cruises has just announced its biggest ever holiday giveaway.

And it means YOU could win the holiday of a lifetime.

The Sunday Mercury, just voted No 1 in the Midlands, has teamed up with the nation's No 1 cruise line.

P&O Cruises is searching for an Inspector Cruiso - well, a dozen of them actually.

They're looking for 12 families, couples or friends who have never taken a P&O Cruises holiday before but who are willing to see what a life on the ocean wave is really like.

Winners will enjoy a holiday on one of the six different ships in the fleet.

What's more, they'll receive credit to spend onboard so they can try out everything the ship has to offer.

The company, which operates ships for the British market - including Ventura, the largest superliner ever built for Britain - is offering prize holidays in exchange for holidaymakers' thoughts and opinions.

They want first-hand feedback about the P&O Cruises holiday experience, from check-in to disembarkation.

P&O Cruises managing director Nigel Esdale explains: "Despite the explosion in the popularity of cruise holidays and people becoming more aware of what is on offer, there are still people who think cruising is not for them.

"Cruise ships may come in outwardly similar packaging but the contents are very different. P&O Cruises offers a depth of experience and a range of ships to suit the needs and wants of holidaymakers.

"An active family holiday, a romantic trip for two, an adventurous holiday alone or relaxing with friends, there is a cruise ship in the P&O Cruises fleet for everyone.

"We are so confident of this that we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is and offer free holidays to people who haven't cruised with us before.

"We're looking for Inspector Cruiso to try a P&O Cruises holiday and then just tell us what they like, what they didn't like - and why. Winners will also see their views posted on our website."
