Events scheduled by Willamalane Park and Recreation District for the week of March 23-29.

Saturday, March 23

"La Cage La Cage has several uses including:

 Aux Folles" - For adults 18 and up in the Adaptive Recreation Adaptive Recreation is a concept whereby people with disabilities are given the opportunity to participate in recreational activities. Through the use of activity modifications and assistive technology, athletes or participants in sports or other recreational pursuits are able to  program. Head to the Very Little Theatre in Eugene with friends for a musical version of the comedy classic. Fee includes ticket. 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. $25. Meet at Willamalane Center.

Saturday through March 31

Spring Break Play Swims - Enjoy waves of fun at Spring Break play swims at Splash! at Lively Park. Saturday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. , 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday-Thursday, March 25-28, noon to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, March 29-30, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, March 31, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Spring Break Slide and Dive Play Swims - Join us for special play swim opportunities at Willamalane Park Swim Center starting Saturday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday through Saturday, March 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Monday, March 25

Pre-engineering with Lego Spring Break Camp - Ages 5-8. Students build cities, bridges, motorized mo·tor·ize  
tr.v. mo·tor·ized, mo·tor·iz·ing, mo·tor·iz·es
1. To equip with a motor.

2. To supply with motor-driven vehicles.

3. To provide with automobiles.
 cars and planes, and explore the many creative possibilities of engineering with access to more than 100,000 pieces of Lego material. Class runs Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29 from 9 a.m. to noon. $150. Willamalane Center.

Engineering Fundamentals with Lego Spring Break Camp - Ages 9-11. Students take on real-life engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture and mechanical and structural engineering, with more than 100,000 pieces of Lego material. Class runs Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. $150. Willamalane Center.

Tuesday, March 26

Lego Robotics robotics, science and technology of general purpose, programmable machine systems. Contrary to the popular fiction image of robots as ambulatory machines of human appearance capable of performing almost any task, most robotic systems are anchored to fixed positions  Camp - Grades 6-8. Push your imagination and create your own robot. Prizes will be awarded during competition on final day. Class runs Tuesday, March 26, through Thursday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $40. Willamalane Center.
