WHY NOT PAY BILLS ELECTRONICALLY?
A recent study by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago concludes
that consumers are waiting for improvements that address more of their
needs before raking the plunge. The study reports that consumers who are
reluctant to use electronic bill payment are particularly concerned
about protecting themselves from potential billing errors and about the
prospect that unusually high bills might put a strain on their available
funds. The study suggests that the next step is up to businesses to
develop product features that consumers will find attractive.
