WFXT-FOX 25 ACQUIRES SYNDICATED 'HOME IMPROVEMENT' FOR 1995

 BOSTON, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- WFXT-Fox 25 has acquired the broadcast rights to "Home Improvement" in syndication beginning in Fall, 1995. The acquisition was announced today by Gerald R. Walsh, president and general manager of WFXT-Fox 25.
 The half-hour sitcom, starring comedian Tim Allen, is one of ABC's most highly rated situation comedies. It is currently the most sought after program in syndication.
 "We are extremely excited to bring 'Home Improvement' to Fox 25," said Walsh. "It is a tremendous addition to our syndication library which also includes 'The Simpsons' and 'Doogie Howser, M.D.'. We have the best syndicated product in the Boston market and viewers know the shows they want to watch are on Fox 25."
 WFXT-Fox 25 holds the rights to the syndicated broadcasts of "Doogie Howser, M.D.", beginning in 1994 and "The Simpsons", beginning in 1995. This fall, WFXT-Fax 25 successfully launched "Roseanne", "Cops", and "Family Matters" in syndication.
