WET SEAL APPOINTS TWO VICE PRESIDENTS
IRVINE, Calif., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion retailer The Wet

Seal Inc. (NASDAQ: WTSLA) has promoted Jean Heller to vice president of merchandising and Sher Moeller to vice president of store operations, announced Kathy Bronstein, who last week succeeded Ken Chilvers as president and chief executive officer. The women will share many of the responsibilities overseen by Bronstein during her tenure as executive vice president and general merchandise manager.
Heller, who has been with Wet Seal for more than three years, had previously served as associate general merchandise manager, responsible for the design, manufacture and production of the company's private label clothing.
The Newport Beach resident earned her bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising from San Diego State University and has more than a decade of experience in retailing. She began her career with Wet Seal as a buyer and, later, merchandise manager of sportswear.
Moeller, also of Newport Beach, had served as Wet Seal's director of stores for the last 18 months. She will continue to direct operations of all its stores across the country and will supervise the company's eight regional directors of stores.
Moeller earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Kearney State College in Nebraska and an associate of arts degree in fashion merchandising from Bauder Fashion College in Miami. She has more than 10 years experience in her field.
Wet Seal is a specialty retailer of moderately priced fashionable apparel for women. It currently operates 113 stores throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Florida and Texas. The company plans to add approximately 19 new stores during 1992, including its first in the Pacific Northwest.
