WESTLAKE WINS WITH AIR SHOW : WESTLAKE 29 BUENA 0.

Byline: Kirby Lee Special to the Daily

Westlake High quarterback Zac Wasserman didn't surpass the totals he put up the week before, in his varsity debut against Ventura.

This time, however, the sophomore came out a winner.

Wasserman completed 13 of 24 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns Friday to guide the Warriors to a 29-0 nonleague victory at Westlake High.

``I felt a lot more pressure this week,'' said Wasserman, who passed for 374 yards in a 20-19 defeat against Buena in the season opener.

``We had something to prove after last week.''

Wasserman also had help from the defense, which intercepted three passes by Ventura quarterback Jason Branch.
