WESTLAKE Westlake, city (1990 pop. 27,018), Cuyahoga co., NE Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland; inc. as a city 1956. A growing city, its various manufactures include ink and plastics.  VILLAGE - Audrey Brown Audrey Kathleen Brown (later Court) (May 24, 1913 – June, 2005) is a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.

Brown was one of two finalists a year ago when the city hired Adams following an extensive search that attracted 100 candidates, Taylor said.

``With Steve leaving, it seemed natural to bring on Audrey as she was still interested in the position and she was one of the finalists to begin with in that process,'' Taylor said.

Brown will help Taylor with the day-to-day operation of the city, such as overseeing contract services, personnel and the budget, and developing staff reports and policies for the council.

``We are really delighted she is going on board,'' Taylor said. ``We think she will be a terrific addition to the staffing contingent.''
