WESTERN AUTO TO OPEN NEW STORE IN TOLEDO, OH
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ --Western Auto has come to Toledo, Ohio. John Leach, President and Chief Operating Officer of Western Auto, announced today that a new Western Auto Store will open on Friday, November 18th, 4906 Monroe Street, Toledo, Ohio. "This conveniently located store offers the most complete selection of automotive parts, tires, accessories and service available under one roof. The store represents an initial investment of about $1,000,000 that the company is making in the greater Toledo area. The store will also provide approximately 50 full-time jobs for the citizens of Toledo," Leach said. Western Auto offers its customers--primarily the do-it-yourself mechanics--name brand parts, tires, a wide range of accessories and a service center. "This store covers all of the Toledo area's automotive needs." Leach said. "We stock thousands of automotive parts for cars and trucks--both domestic and import. We also carry both brand name and private label parts and can install many of the parts sold for the non-do-it-yourself customer." Western Auto also offers a wide selection of brand name and private label tires and has an automotive service center. For example, the stores will feature nationally recognized tire brands including Michelin, B. F. Goodrich and Pirelli. Western Auto's tire department also features trained tire specialists and offers tire installation in 58 minutes or less. The service center will include seven (7) bays equipped with the latest automotive equipment. The staff consists of trained automotive technicians and service installers. Western Auto accepts Discover, SearsCharge, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express charge cards, as well as its own Western Auto card. Western Auto operates a national network of 368 company-owned stores and 1,100 associate stores from its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
