Celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. at a parade and carnival themed ``We Have Not Forgotten, the Fight Is Not Over.'' The Martin Luther King Kingdom Day Parade will include more than 150 floats, 20 drill teams, marching bands, dance groups, celebrities and more. Dozens of local vendors and restaurants will provide food and fun in a festival atmosphere. Streets will be closed off at 8:30 a.m. Monday. The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. and Crenshaw boulevards, travels on Crenshaw and ends at Western Avenue. Free. (323) 299-1234. www.thekingcenter.org.

L.A. Day on Hope: a festival celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Features food, carnival games, live entertainment, speeches and more. 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Harmony Elementary School Harmony Elementary School is located in Johnson County, Kansas, and is part of Blue Valley School District. , 899 E. 42nd Place, Los Angeles.

Kidspace Museum Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration: featuring an African drum circle drum circle,
n a spiritual, communal, or therapeutic music experience in which participants join together in a circle with drums, move, dance using various percussion instruments, voices, and other devices.
