Artists from Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  and beyond will converge on downtown Pasadena to draw ornate chalk creations covering approximately two city blocks. Kids can create their own masterpieces at ``Chalk Land'' and learn from experts from the Kidspace Children's Museum Kidspace Children's Museum is located next to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Since the December 2004 opening of its new facility in Brookside Park, Pasadena, Kidspace Children’s Museum has provided local community children with an unparalleled space for
