, a 36th anniversary celebration of Earth Day on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade The Third Street Promenade is a pedestrian street in Santa Monica, California, United States. It is considered one of the premier shopping destinations in West Los Angeles and frequently draws crowds from all over Los Angeles County. . An estimated 15,000 people will be in attendance, with more than 60 environmental exhibits, music and kid-friendly activities. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Event is free.  Dog Easter Parade: featuring a Super Pet Adoption Pet adoption usually refers to the process of taking guardianship of and responsibility for a pet that a previous owner has abandoned or otherwise abdicated responsibility for.  Fair, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Livingston Park, 4900 E. Livingston Drive, Belmont Shore. Parade features more than 500 dogs dressed in Easter attire, 2:30 p.m. Sunday from Second Street and Argonne Avenue to Nieto Avenue, Belmont Shore.
