A very Lego Hanukkah

Get ready for Hanukkah with the construction of a giant Lego menorah menorah

Multibranched candelabra used by Jews during the festival of Hanukkah. It holds nine candles (or has nine receptacles for oil). Eight of the candles stand for the eight days of Hanukkah—one is lit the first day, two the second, and so on.
 at the annual Hanukkah Friendship Carnival in Agoura Hills. The Lego menorah will give children the chance to learn about the holiday in an interactive way. Children and teen volunteers will participate in the construction of the menorah, which will then be lit with special lanterns.

The carnival will also feature game booths, traditional Hanukkah food such as latkes, plus arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts. , an olive press demonstration, dreidel games and more.
