Strawberries are in season, and where better to celebrate than at the California Strawberry Festival A Strawberry Festival is an event and celebration in many towns in North America. In most instances, areas around these towns are, or have been, deeply involved in the production and marketing of strawberries, and the festivals are usually held in late spring around the time of the ? In its 23rd year, the celebration includes live concerts, ``Strawberryland for Kids,'' gooey See GUI.  contests, an arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts.  showcase, the Strawberry Promenade and more. Cuban Music Festival, dancing, food, art, plus music by Francisco Aguabella Francisco Aguabella (c. 1925) is an Afro-Cuban jazz conga player, well-known on the jazz scene since the 1950s born in Matanzas, Cuba. International Festival, games, rides, food and music, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. Sunday (free) at St. John Baptist de la Salle De La Salle is the name of several educational institutions affiliated with the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, also known as the Lasallian Brothers, a Roman Catholic religious teaching order founded by French priest Saint Jean-Baptiste de la Salle:

Korean Garden Festival, traditional Korean culture through garden displays, music, art, dance and food, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (free with general admission) at the L.A. County Arboretum arboretum: see botanical garden.

Sepulveda Garden Fair, bonsai bonsai (bōn`sī), art of cultivating dwarf trees.
