The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts. and other types of entertainment to Ventura Boulevard Ventura Boulevard is one of the primary east-west thouroughfares in the San Fernando Valley; as it was originally a part of the El Camino Real (the trail between Spanish missions), Ventura Boulevard is the oldest route in the San Fernando Valley. It was also U.S. from Kester Avenue to Van Nuys Boulevard - or as the locals might say, from Pavilions to the Unocal 76 station. Grand marshal Grand Marshal is a ceremonial, military, or political office of very high rank. The term has its origins with the word "Marshal" with the first usage of the term "Grand Marshal" as a ceremonial title for certain religious orders. of Sunday's 13th annual Sherman Oaks fair is coach and teacher John Wooden, whose UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles UCLA University Center for Learning Assistance (Illinois State University) UCLA University of Carrollton, TX and Lower Addison, TX basketball teams amassed 10 national championships - seven in a row - along with four perfect seasons. This year's entertainers include the Dixie Canyon Elementary Glee Club, the Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet, guitarist Pete Quenet, the Blue Cats and many others.
