WEEKEND FESTIVALS SHERMAN OAKS COMES OUT TO PARTY.

Each year, the Sherman Oaks Street Fair brings music, food, arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts.  and other types of entertainment to Ventura Boulevard Ventura Boulevard is one of the primary east-west thouroughfares in the San Fernando Valley; as it was originally a part of the El Camino Real (the trail between Spanish missions), Ventura Boulevard is the oldest route in the San Fernando Valley. It was also U.S.  from Kester Avenue to Van Nuys Boulevard - or as the locals might say, from Pavilions to the Unocal 76 station.

Grand marshal Grand Marshal is a ceremonial, military, or political office of very high rank.  basketball teams amassed 10 national championships - seven in a row - along with four perfect seasons.

This year's entertainers include the Dixie Canyon Elementary Glee Club, the Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet, guitarist Pete Quenet, the Blue Cats and many others.

PUMPKIN pumpkin, common name for the genus Cucurbita of the family Cucurbitaceae (gourd family), a group that includes the pumpkins and squashes—the names may be used interchangeably and without botanical distinction. C.  FESTIVAL: Two-day fair where you can pick your own orb or bring one from home to enter the $1,000 weigh-off. In addition, there will be food, games, music and shopping.
