WEEKEND FESTIVALS GO WEST!


Get in touch with your inner cowboy at this two-day festival celebrating the heritage of the horse in the American West. Enjoy riding demonstrations, historic re-enactments, pony rides, music, and arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts. .

MARIACHI USA FESTIVAL: Four-hour concert devoted to the rousing melodies of mariachi. Hollywood Bowl The Hollywood Bowl is a modern amphitheatre at 2301 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood, California, USA, that is used primarily for music performances. The "bowl" in this context is the natural cavity in the earth into which the amphitheater is built, rather than the shape of the , 2301 N. KIDFEST: Music, food, games, crafts, rides, jolly jumps and a Ferris wheel Ferris wheel, amusement park ride. It consists of a power-operated wheel that is about 50 ft (15 m) in diameter. FESTIVAL OF THE HORSE: Museum of the American West, Griffith Park Griffith Park is a large public park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
