WEEKEND FESTIVALS EARTH DAY IN THE VALLEY.


WorldFest, a solar-powered celebration of food, music, the environment and animals, comes to Van Nuys this weekend.

Created to promote an environmentally aware lifestyle, Sunday's annual Earth Day event at Woodley Park Woodley Park refers to the following:
  • Woodley Park, D.C., a neighborhood in Washington
  • Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan, a Metro station
 will be filled with music, celebrities, speakers, educational booths, kids' activities, animal adoptions and an organic food court.

More than 30 music ensembles covering everything from electronica to bluegrass bluegrass, any species of the large and widely distributed genus Poa, chiefly range and pasture grasses of economic importance in temperate and cool regions. In general, bluegrasses are perennial with fine-leaved foliage that is bluish green in some species.  will appear on three stages. There will also be arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant.
