The annual festival is a time when Mexican families celebrate the continuity of life and remember their dead. On Sunday, for the third year running, Canoga Park will host its Day of the Dead event featuring dance, music, crafts and international food vendors. Along with music from Afro-pop/salsa act Ricardo Lemvo Ricardo Lemvo is a Los Angeles-based salsa, rumba and soukous singer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaïre).
