In most instances, areas around these towns are, or have been, deeply involved in the production and marketing of strawberries, and the festivals are usually held in late spring around the time of the . This weekend's event in Oxnard features parades, live music, crafts and a wide array of strawberry delicacies This is a List of national delicacies. This list is sorted from where the food originated from. Many of these dishes may be normal to one culture, however to other cultures may seem bizarre. A delicacy is a food that is particularly prized within a given culture. , including strawberry beer and strawberry pizza. Music ranges from disco to Latin funk to r&b. Kids can watch puppet shows, magic acts and other entertainment at the Strawberryland for Kids section.
