A dia to remember in Canoga Park

 Festival will feature the La Internacional Sonora Show, a Latin orchestra well-known in international music circles, and many other popular Latino acts. Stage performances will take place in front of the Madrid Theatre on Sherman Way and will feature Sol de Alegria and Ballet Folklorico Aztlan Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan was founded in 1967 by Hermina Enrique Acosta and currently her daughter Viviana Enrique Acosta is the Artistic Director.

The Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan presents Sunday Zapateado
 de CSUN, a dance group from the Northridge campus whose focus is to educate the community about Mexican culture through dance.

The festival will include arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts.  vendors, altar displays, a classic car show, ethnic food and a children's art pavilion.

Our Community Celebrates Youth Festival: Features children's health and safety tips, hands-on demonstrations by the L.A. Japanese Garden Festival: Japanese dance, taiko drummers and koto koto (kō`tō), a Japanese string instrument related in structure to the zither. It consists of an elongated rectangular wooden body, strung lengthwise with 7 to 13 silk strings.  music. The event also features demonstrations in ikebana ikebana

Santa Monica Pier The Santa Monica Pier is located at the foot of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California and is a prominent landmark. Attractions
The pier contains Pacific Park, a family amusement park with a large ferris wheel.
 Benefit for Hurricane Victims: Featuring entertainment from eight bands, raffles, food carts, beer garden, rides and other family activities. The first 500 visitors will receive a free ride at Pacific Park. Noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Santa Monica Pier. Admission is $5, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity, nonprofit ecumenical Christian organization that enables low-income people to own affordable, livable housing. Autumn Festival: Live music, dance and cultural arts exhibits celebrating Asian culture including taiko drumming, Chinese lion dancing, martial arts, acrobats, origami and more. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Aquarium of the Pacific The Aquarium of the Pacific is located in the city of Long Beach, California at the mouth of the Los Angeles River.
