WEEKEND BUSES ON SEPTA ROUTE 100, VILLANOVA-NORRISTOWN

WEEKEND BUSES ON SEPTA ROUTE 100, VILLANOVA-NORRISTOWN
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Buses will replace trains on

SEPTA's Route 100 Norristown High Speed Line this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19 and 20, between Villanova and the Norristown Transportation Center while SEPTA installs a new track crossover near Radnor Station, an authority spokesperson said today.
Shuttle buses will make all stops between Villanova and Norristown except Bridgeport Station because Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) work on the DeKalb Street Bridge would create a lengthy detour for SEPTA buses. However, PennDOT will operate a shuttle van between Norristown and Bridgeport. PennDOT van schedules are posted in the Norristown Transportation Center.
On Saturday only, in addition to SEPTA's regular shuttle bus service it will provide non-stop express buses between Villanova and Norristown. Those trains that leave 69th Street Terminal at 20 minutes after the hour between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. will be met by express buses at Villanova Station. The last train to be met by an express bus will be the 5:20 p.m. from 69th Street Terminal.
There will be no express bus service provided on Sunday.
