WEAVING DREAMS LOCAL FIRM DONATES SOFTWARE TO ASSIST IN BENEFIT AUCTION.

VALENCIA - Teksmart, a technology firm in the Valencia Industrial Center, has donated Dreamweaver software and its expertise to support the 14th annual Classic Wine Benefit Auction, scheduled for Oct. 15 to benefit the SCV Senior Center's Home Delivered Meals Program.

The wine auction and luncheon will take place at 11 a.m. at Le Chene French Cuisine in Agua Dulce. This year's theme is ``Harvesting Care, Harvesting Life!'' and organizers hope to focus the public's attention on both the benefits and special needs of the elderly in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Teksmart has designed a Wine Auction Web page to make it easier for supporters to get information about the upcoming event, download the forms needed to attend, or make donations to support the auction. The upgraded software will facilitate the ongoing dissemination of information about the many vital programs, classes and community events of the SCV Committee on Aging and Senior Center.

The new site is located at www.scvseniorcenter.org. Visitors can click on the Wine Auction button to access the auction information.

Teksmart provides technological services such as Web design and hosting, wireless and computer networking services, telephone services and more. In addition to the software, Teksmart has donated 10 hours of consultation time to be auctioned off at the event.

The firm worked with the Senior Center's Webmaster, Robert Ward Jr., in developing the new Web site. Ward, a junior at Canyon High School, was the team captain for the award-winning Sierra Vista Junior High students who developed the original Web site for the Senior Center three years ago.
