Both the British and the U.S. has organized a dialogue on the issue this weekend. The Saturday panel discussion is expected to include those with opinions on both sides of the debate in an effort to create a new understanding between them. ``We want to show them who really is the legitimate, law-abiding gun owner and what that person is like,'' said Alan Wunderlich, vice president of the NRA NRA (National Rifle Association of America) organization that encourages sharpshooting and use of firearms for hunting. We'll put everything on the table and have a good look at it and be able to speak to each other without having an argument. ``We want to know why we have a difference of opinion. Officials said those representing the gun-control side of the debate have been invited to the panel, but have not yet committed to attending. The event is the first offered by the 6-year-old group. Wunderlich said the group hopes to be able to conduct similar seminars in the future.
