) creates two new executive positions in the business-to-business information company. Steve Slakis joins WPC in the new position of vice president/ director of sales and product development. Prior to joining WPC, Slakis was group publisher for Putnam Media's food publications. Clay Schreiber, formerly group publisher with WPC, has been promoted to director of events and Asian development. Schreiber will lead WPC's growing Asian publishing business and establish a worldwide events function focusing on the agrifood and woodworking industries. He has been with WPC for 27 years, most recently as group publisher for its Agribusiness agribusiness
