WATER POLO: PLAYOFF GAMES SET LA CANADA BOYS EARN WATER POLO TOP SEED.

Season-long domination of opponents does not always translate into a top seed when it's time It's Time was a successful political campaign run by the Australian Labor Party (ALP) under Gough Whitlam at the 1972 election in Australia. The Spartans, who host Montebello in the first round, and the Coyotes, who open at home against Louisville of Woodland Hills, are among six local teams in the two sports to receive top-four seeds for the playoffs that begin with today's wild-card games. First-round games are Thursday, except for Division IV and Division VI water polo, which are Friday.

Defending Division III champion Harvard-Westlake of North Hollywood is the only other local seeded tennis team at No. 4 in Division IV.

Royal of Simi Valley's water polo team is seeded first in Division IV, with Frontier League The Frontier League, based in Troy, Illinois, is a professional, independent baseball organization located in the Midwestern United States and Western Pennsylvania. It operates mostly in cities not served by Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either.  champion Malibu seeded third. After opening against the Almont League's third-place team, La Canada could face Glendale and Burroughs of Burbank or Hoover of Glendale before a potential final against Crescenta Valley.

As full as that bracket is with locals, the Division IV water polo and Division IV tennis brackets have even more, with six and seven respectively.
