WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES: CONSTRUCTION TO CAUSE DELAYS AT EDMONDS

SEATTLE, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, Feb. 23, Washington State Ferries (WSF) will begin emergency repairs on the south wing wall at the Edmonds Terminal, WSF said. The $150,000 project was awarded to Manson Construction of Seattle.
During the project, which is expected to last two to three weeks, ferry crews will have to dock their vessel by spring line, a somewhat time-consuming process. Passengers can expect delays.
"These repairs are sorely needed," said Ron Paananen, Terminal Construction manager. "We also needed to get this project completed before spring and increasing traffic."
