WASHINGTON STATE BOARD CANCELS HEARINGS ON SUSPENDED PHARMACIES' LICENSES

 WASHINGTON STATE BOARD CANCELS HEARINGS
 ON SUSPENDED PHARMACIES' LICENSES
The Washington State Board of Pharmacy said today it has canceled hearings on summary suspensions of the licenses of "For Your Health" Pharmacy in Kent, Wash., and Fircrest Pharmacy in Fircrest.
The owners of the pharmacies declined to request hearings, which were planned for Tuesday, June 2, on charges brought by the board last month, according to the board's Executive Director Donald H. Williams.
As a result, the suspension of the licenses remains in place until the board either orders the permanent suspension of the licenses or lifts the suspensions. Such an action by the board could take place later this year.
