WARNER BROS. RECORDS PREMIERES ON COMPUSERVE MUSIC VENDOR FORUM

 COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The latest on Madonna, Prince, Rod Stewart, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and other artists is now available online through the CompuServe Information Service. CompuServe's new Music Vendor Forum offers music fans up-to-the-minute news about their favorite artists in an interactive, 24-hour-a-day service. Warner Bros. Records Inc., a leader in the recording and entertainment industry, is the first vendor to participate in the online forum.
 "It's exciting to be associated with CompuServe in this project," said Bob Merlis, Warner's senior vice president of media relations. "Online forums are a great way to get information to today's music fans, and we look forward to a long and positive relationship."

 The Music Vendor Forum includes online fan clubs, announcements of new releases, tour schedules, artists' biographies, and even live conferences with popular artists and groups. Future plans call for digital sound bites of upcoming CDs, computer animation of new music computer animation of new music videos, and graphic files.
 The Music Vendor Forum is part of the ever-expanding coverage of music and entertainment on CompuServe. Related areas include the Showbiz, MIDI/Music, Music/Arts, Rocknet, and Sight and Sound forums and Roger Ebert's Movie Reviews.
 CompuServe members pay $8.95 per month for unlimited connect-time access to 47 basic services.
