. announced Friday it plans to open a four-story Studio Store in Tokyo's Ginza shopping district this fall as part of its aggressive international expansion campaign.

The store will be located in an eight-story building formerly known as Kanebo Fashion Center, which has been renamed the Warner Bros. Building. Japanese conglomerate conglomerate, in business

Warner, which has more than 160 of the stores in operation, operates three outlets in Japan - two in Tokyo and one in Chiba - and is opening a fourth in Sapporo today.

Dan Rominelli, president of Warner's consumer products arm, said in a statement, ``The Daiei's commitment to providing the highest quality branded and regional merchandise in an environment that entertains and creates a sense of excitement has already been demonstrated in the immediate success of Warner Bros. Studio Stores Japan.''

Warner plans to open between 20 and 25 international outlets this year. As of the start of the year, it had 23 in foreign locales.
