 WARNER BROS. MOVES 'MALCOLM X' OPENING TO WEDNESDAY, NOV. 18
 BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on responses to early screenings of "Malcolm X," produced by Marvin Worth and Spike Lee and directed by Lee, Warner Bros. has moved the film's national opening date from Friday, Nov. 20 to Wednesday, Nov. 18.
 According to the studio, the early response has been so extraordinary that it was decided to give "Malcolm X" an opportunity to benefit from positive word of mouth prior to the weekend. The picture, which stars Denzel Washington in the title role, is an epic recounting of the life of Malcolm X, a brilliant and charismatic human rights leader of the 1950s and '60s.
 Warner Bros. Presents, in Association with Largo International N.V., A 40 Acres and A Mule Production of a Marvin Worth Production of A Spike Lee Joint: Denzel Washington in "Malcolm X," starring Angela Bassett, Albert Hall, Al Freeman Jr., Delroy Lindo and Spike Lee. The editor is Barry Alexander Brown; the production design is by Wynn Thomas; and the film is photographed by Ernest Dickerson, A.S.C. The original music score is by Terence Blanchard. The co- producers are Monty Ross, Jon Kilik and Preston Holmes. The screenplay is by Arnold Perl and Spike Lee, based on the book "The Autobiography of Malcolm X," as told to Alex Haley. The film is produced by Marvin Worth and Spike Lee. The director is Spike Lee. Distributed by Warner Bros., A Time Warner Entertainment Company.
