Highway Patrol Officer Jeff Perez said the influx of visitors to the amusement park amusement park, a commercially operated park offering various forms of entertainment, such as arcade games, carousels, roller coasters, and performers, as well as food, drink, and souvenirs.  Saturday morning was causing traffic to back up onto the freeway, which could increase the possibility of collisions.

Bonnie Bartling, a weather information specialist for the National Weather Service, said it was particularly sunny Saturday in areas like the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, but there were low clouds and fog hugging the coastal areas for a good part of the day, with the sun trying to burn through in the afternoon.

``It's nice weather a few miles away from the coast,'' Bartling said.

Forecasters predicted mostly sunny weather today with highs in the 80s and 90s in the valley areas.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were expected to be breezy and cooler, with highs in the 70s.
