W3C Track Announced for WWW2007 Conference.


Experts Present Vision of Seamless Web Experience

http://www.w3.org/ -- The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C (World Wide Web Consortium, www.w3.org) An international industry consortium founded in 1994 by Tim Berners-Lee to develop standards for the Web. It is hosted in the U.S. by the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT (www.csail.mit.edu/index.php). ) presents its recent achievements and future work plans through the W3C Track at the WWW WWW or W3: see World Wide Web.


(World Wide Web) The common host name for a Web server. The "www-dot" prefix on Web addresses is widely used to provide a recognizable way of identifying a Web site.
2007 conference, to be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, from 9 to 11 May 2007.

This year's nine sessions - 33 presentations in all - cover:

* The Future of the Web Page

* Advances in Semantic Web

* Security and Usability on the Web

* Web of Services for Enterprise Computing

* A Multimodal Web to Expand Universal Access

The W3C Track, a regular feature of the IW3C2 conference series, gives conference participants the opportunity to meet with W3C technical staff and Working Group Chairs, as well as learn about the latest developments in Web technologies.

In addition to the W3C Track, you can hear Tim Berners-Lee give the opening keynote entitled "The Two Magics of Web Science" on Wednesday 9 May. Tim Berners-Lee will also participate in the Web History sessions that day.

The W3C staff will also be available for discussions at the W3C booth (#7) in the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel The Banff Springs Hotel is a former railway hotel done in Scottish Baronial style, located in the Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. The hotel, designed by architect Bruce Price,[1]  exhibition area.
