W&M expands MerritView space.

Reed Exhibition, one of the world's leading organizers of trade and public shows, has leased 5,623 square feet on MerrittView's fourth floor for a 10-year term. Reed Exhibition, which already has offices on the building's second, third, and fourth floors, is scheduled to move into its additional fourth floor space on June 1. W&M Construction will build out the new space for the tenant.

"We need additional space because of the company's growth, and we're pleased that W&M could accommodate us," says Gregg Vautrin, Reed Exhibition's senior vice president of finance.

Newman and JoAnn B. McGrath, W&M's vice president of leasing and marketing, represented the building owner in the lease negotiations. Reed Exhibition represented itself.

Built in 1985, MerrittView is an eight-story, 250,000 square-foot Class A office building. Located at the intersection of Route 7 and the Merritt Parkway , near the Norwalk/Wilton border, MerrittView boasts a centralized cen·tral·ize
