DoloRx:

Dr. Richard Franson, Ph.D., discovered the active principle of DoloRx for the Voyager Group. In Latin, dolor Dolor

," according to Dr. Franson.

Dr. Tashoff Bernton, M.D., has reported that his patients' response to DoloRx has been outstanding. The patients have shown "increased pain-free joint motion as well as higher levels of function with regular use."

DoloRx is scientifically designed to effectively target the enzymes in the body that act to degrade and destroy cells that make up joint tissue. These enzymes are called primary catabolic Catabolic

Research conducted by the U.S. Military into the cause and inflammation determined by the PCEs are produced when the body is under stress, sustains an injury, or develops arthritis. When the cells are attacked by PCE, inflammation pain and reduced joint movement are the results.

DoloRx is a patented, topically applied formula that gives the cells the ability to counteract and disable the PCEs, thereby allowing the cells to maintain their structural integrity.

Voyager product DoloRx will meet the Arthritis Foundation's guidelines for a proven treatment of osteoarthritis osteoarthritis

Most common joint disorder, afflicting over 80% of those who reach age 70. It does not involve excessive inflammation and may have no symptoms, especially at first.
. Voyager's customers' written responses to DoloRx have experienced one or more of the following results: a)reduced pain, b)increased joint motion, and c) increased strength.

Dr. Mann, M.D., Voyager's director of product development, on the pain treatment comparison of DoloRx, Ben Gay, and Ibuprofen ibuprofen (ī`byprō'fən), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, fever, and inflammation. :

A comparison between DoloRx, a standard non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, usually abbreviated to NSAIDs, are drugs with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects - they reduce pain, fever and inflammation.  and a commercial liniment liniment, liquid preparation rubbed on skin, used to relieve muscular aches and pains. It contains some substance that when rubbed over the affected part causes mild irritation and often brings more blood to the painful part.  used for the treatment of pain associated with arthritis.

ABSTRACT -- DoloRx, a unique proprietary topical composition was compared with Ibuprofen, an NSAID NSAID: see nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. (Non Steroidal Non steroidal

Surprisingly, DoloRx was substantially more effective than Ibuprofen or Ben Gay at relieving arthritis pain. Equally interesting was the fact that DoloRx lasted longer and had more rapid onset of action onset of action Pharmacology The length of time needed for a medicine to become effective. INTRODUCTION -- Arthritis and the pain associated with arthritis is among the more common afflictions of mankind. Therefore, any novel treatment with a salutary affect is worthy of consideration. DoloRx contains a patented molecule capable of enhancing perpetration per·pe·trate

of active ingredients and enhancing anti-inflammatory responses, thereby reducing pain and discomfort and enhancing joint mobility. To determine relative efficacy, we did comparison testing of DoloRx, Ibuprofen, and Ben Gay. Ibuprofen is the largest selling NSAID in the world at the present time, and Ben Gay is the largest selling topical counter irritant for the treatment of arthritis.

MATERIAL AND METHODS -- A cohort of 10 patients, all of whom had been diagnosed with clinically obvious osteoarthritis, were enlisted in this study. Ages ranged from 45 to 78 years old. Half of the subjects were men and half were women. Grip strengths were determined prior to testing using a Mercury-filled sphygmomanometer sphygmomanometer /sphyg·mo·ma·nom·e·ter/ (sfig?mo-mah-nom´e-ter) an instrument for measuring arterial blood pressure.

. Results were averaged among the 10 patients. Patients were asked to evaluate their pain in the morning on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most painful. These results were averaged. The various treatments were given for one week, and the previous indices were re-evaluated at the end of the week. One week of no medication was required in between tests. This was done to avoid the possibility of therapeutic overlap, the testing for total period of 6 weeks.

Ibuprofen was tested first and was administered orally in a standard dose of 400 mg, 2 times per day. One subject complained of skin irritation. One subject complained of dizziness. No one stopped taking medication.

Ben Gay was tested next and was administered topically to the affected joints, 3 times per day. Four of the subjects had to reduce their administration of the product to twice daily. No one stopped administering the product.

DoloRx was the third and final phase of the study. Subjects were instructed to apply DoloRx to affected joints 3 times per day. There were no complaints of side effects and one stopped administering DoloRx.

Results:

A Mercury sphygmomanometer determination of grip strength in MM Hg averaged over the 10 patients:
1. Baseline 62 MM Hg

2. Ibuprofen 80 MM Hg

3. Ben Gay 71 MM Hg

4. DoloRx 84 MM Hg

Pain scale gradation gradation: see ablaut.  in the morning on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most painful:
1. Baseline 7.8

2. Ibuprofen 3.0

3. Ben Gay 5.6

4. DoloRx 2.8

DISCUSSION:

Clearly, analysis of the results indicates that DoloRx has a substantial affect on arthritis. Certainly the author has never in his prior experience encountered a topical preparation that exceeded the efficacy of the NSAID. Equally intriguing to the author was the fact that all patients requested the opportunity to continue the use of DoloRx even if they had to pay for it. However, the most intriguing aspect of this trail was the progressive joint mobility noticed after one week of treatment attempt with DoloRx. This was not noted with either Ibuprofen or Ben Gay and certainly was not expected. Two of the subjects were able to completely close their hands and make a fist, something that neither had been able to do in more than five years.

CONCLUSION:

DoloRx is a remarkably effective topical treatment for chronic osteoarthritis. Further study involving patients with rheumatoid arthritis would be worthwhile.

However, it is this researcher's contention that the results would be expected to be similar to those encountered with osteoarthritis.
