Marshall, who also books the Wetlands on Garfield Street, plans to keep the noisier shows in West Eugene. At the Good Times, he plans to focus at first on local and regional acts, but eventually, the goal is to snag touring blues musicians as they make their way up or down Interstate 5.

"As far as the blues is concerned, many of the acts that I bring are going to to be national acts," said Marshall, who has apparently been in contact with several Blind Pig recording artists.

To get ready for the expanded music schedule, Good Times is building a new stage in the same corner where the old stage once stood. The artists who once graced that old stage include Country Joe McDonald, Tiny Tim, Leftover Salmon, Toots toots
