Volume Public Relations Retained to Change the United States Perception of Rwanda.

DENVER -- Volume Public Relations announced today the addition of Thousand Hills Venture Fund (THVF) to its growing national and international practice. THVF has retained VolumePR for a full-service public relations program, building on VolumePR's impressive growth of more than 520 percent over the past two years.

Founded in 2004 as the only for-profit venture capital fund focused on small and medium-sized enterprises in Rwanda, THVF provides U.S.-based businesses and individual investors a private sector approach to economic development. THVF focuses on the "financing gap" that exists in many developing countries - which includes investments above micro-finance levels but below the minimum amount typically required by existing private equity funds. THVF currently targets its investments in Rwanda due to its densely populated geographic location, rapid infrastructure development and potential for revolutionary productivity gains, making it one of the most promising African nations for venture capital investment.

"From day one with VolumePR they understood our market needs as a venture capital fund. Their knowledge and expertise of foreign markets was something that I hadn't experienced with other agencies," said Rob Fogler, THVF co-founder and managing director. "As our program continues to develop we are already experiencing unbelievable coverage, proving that even a task as daunting as changing the United States perception of Rwanda is not too much for this team."

"We are thrilled to work with clients that make such an impact around the world," said Elizabeth Robinson, founder and president of VolumePR. "We are known for our ability to generate coverage and mass appeal for our clients, and are very proud to be able to apply that skill to organizations that are changing misconceptions and accelerating the growth of developing countries."
