Vollmer Associates has been awarded a contract by the New York City Economic Development Corporation Overview
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is a non-profit local development corporation that promotes economic growth across New York City's five boroughs.

The design team will employ a context sensitive design approach, drawing on the character of each individual neighborhood.

Vollmer's responsibilities will include project area topographic survey and field investigation, schematic design, preliminary design, final contract documents, construction support, and construction inspection.

The firm's previous streetscape projects have ranged in scale from decorative sidewalk replacement projects to large-scale urban streetscapes, including sidewalk expansion, new pedestrian and street level lighting, landscaping, street furniture, signage, and infrastructure relocations and reconstruction.
